DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS
An introduction to the principles of design, and the creative process. Assignments identify the visual language of design and apply critical analysis. Students solve problems in 2-D design, develop a basis for aesthetic sensitivity and use design elements as a tool of communication. As a foundation class, students develop of craftsmanship, follow instructions, and work in collaborative and team projects.
